CHILL High School and Middle School Teams Tryouts
CHILL started a High School and Middle School team program in fall of 2015. According to the governing bodies, the teams must be associated with a local high school and middle school. Woodstock High and Woodstock Middle were chosen as the associated schools and team names, however players are selected to the teams from schools in Cherokee and Cobb counties in association with CHILL recreation league. Most games for these programs are played in Snellville at the SGAA facility and mostly on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. Due to the lengthy travel, each program conveniently scheduled our games 2 at a time on most scheduled weekends so we wouldn't have to travel every week, but rather every other week for 2 games. For more information please contact Matt Hackett, CHILL Hockey Director at League@CHILLhockey.org or call 770-851-1558.
THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY PARENT/PLAYER MEETING FOR ALL HIGH SCHOOL AND MIDDLE SCHOOL POTENTIALS ON AUGUST 2ND AT 7:00PM.
2016/2017 High School Team Tryouts will be August 3rd, August 8th, and August 11th at 7:30pm. There will be a $20 tryout fee for any player trying out. This is a one time fee for all tryout dates. Players are encouraged to make all tryout days.
2016/2017 Middle School Team Tryouts will be August 4th, August 9th and August 11th at 7:30pm. There will be a $20 tryout fee for any player trying out. This is a one time fee for all tryout dates. Players are encouraged to make all tryout days.
Team uniforms must be purchased and any fees associated with the league will be negotiated prior to commitment to the team. Game schedules for each team will not be announced until after a team seeding tournament in September. Players can not make a decision to play or not play based on the season schedule and availability. We have to create and select our teams, as well as order uniforms, before the schedule is made.
